The non-profit organization Kingdom of Barūle's goal is to establish an Autonomous Territory within Colombia, based on our African ancestry, to further develop the culture and community in our region. We are not a fictitious entity, our local identity is based on a separate way of life and traditions, as well as a different background and independent history from the rest of what today is considered the Republic of Colombia in South America. The Kingdom of Barūle and its citizens do not cease to seek ways to free ourselves and finally claim our ancestors' land as an Autonomous Territory, living within the legal parameters of the great Colombian Nation. The idea is to work together in order to help our people succeed and utilize the already rich resources of our beautiful homeland in a proper and more accomplishing manner. |
